You go, ducks.
How are you supposed to keep pests off of your rice? Well, there are a few ways to do so. The first involves using a whole bunch of fertilizers; the second involves crop rotation. The third, and most fun option, is to simply flood the place with water and then unload a bunch of fish and ducks on it.
Does doing this come with its own problems? Of course — get ready for a lot of duck shit — but they’re effective at eating the pests, and they look cool as hell doing it.
